"It may be cloudy in my right eye, but the sun is shining very brightly in my left eye. And just think how the sun has shined. Right up to the door of this great Hall, the shrine for the greatest game in the world, and the greatest players in the world, baseball." - Kirby Puckett

Matt Capps' First Entrance onto Target Field [video]
Pioneer Press: "I don't think I've ever had an ovation quite like that," said Capps, who ran out to the same song he did in D.C. ("The Final Countdown"). "It gave me some goose bumps coming in. It feels good when people appreciate what you've done. To come here on Day One and get an ovation like that, I mean, what a feeling."
Thank-you for posting this! My husband and I were fortunate to meet Matt (at Dodger Stadium) when the Pirates first brought him up, and we have followed his career ever since. We have gotten to see him play in various parks the past several years, but I don't know if we'll ever get out to Minnesota. So, I appreciate seeing his entrance (and the end of the game!). He is an outstanding young man-polite, funny, family oriented, great team player, and an asset to any community. I wish him and the Twins a great season! Joni in CA (but from NJ)
I was attempting to find the song that Capps is coming out to in 2011 after I heard him on KFAN with PA. He was going to let PA pick the song. Fun to see your youtube clip again from 2010.
